My favorite time of the year!

It’s fall Y’all!

My favorite time of year is fall, winter, spring, and summer.
It’s impossible to choose just one, because I love them all for different reasons.

Fall because of the color changes in the leaves, pumpkin spice, Halloween, Thanksgiving and rain storms.

Winter because of sweater weather, snow, fireplaces. hot chocolate, cookies and Christmas

Spring because everything turns green and come alive again, the birds return and animals have babies

Summer because of late nights, beach trips, sunshine. warm weather, kayaking, picnics and lots of flowers and colors everywhere.

Having recently moved from the Pacific North West (PNW) to Ohio, I am looking forward to actual sweater-weather. Sure we had that in Washington (the state) but in reality that meant using a sweater as you jacket. Here in Ohio, the weather can change drastically in just a day! From the car needing to be defrosted in the morning to 75 degrees in the afternoon.

While layers were important in WA due to the rainy season (1/1-12/31) in Ohio it is due to the crazy daily changes. Cause you never know if you need to wear more or less.

I am looking forward to more color changes, though. Where we lived in WA was dominated by evergreen trees, and Ohio has way more deciduous trees. And that reminds me of home!

What’s your favorite time of the year?
